If you use experiences, findings, assertions or text passages from other people for your scientific work and base it on them, it is essential to cite the sources used correctly and to list them in the bibliography. If resources used are not marked and verified, this is considered theft of the intellectual property of others (plagiarism) and an attempt at fraud.
At the UAS Grisons, the commonly used citation style is APA. On the website and in this book you can find helpful information.
Literature management systems support you in the correct verification of resources used in written work by usually offering the following functions:
Storage and organisation of references and PDFs
Automated import of literature references from databases, library catalogues and websites
Manual entry of literature references
Automatic creation of in-text citations and reference lists in the written work
MAXQDA
The tool MAXQDA, which is provided by IT (link to download), is suitable for managing and processing data collected by the students themselves (for example, transcription and content analysis of interviews). Helpful tutorials are available on the website.
